Never apologise for long posts! It's great to see such in-depth analysis, and I hope you won't be the only one. Mine are already fairly wordy too (http://high-atop-the-thing.blogspot.com).
We're expecting the full gamut of depth/length for posts across everyone's blogs, depending on how much time or how naturally loquacious people are (or how used they are to blogging - as an old-hand livejournaller this isn't new to you like it is to some others!), but I'm really hoping that with time the general length of posts will get longer rather than shorter!
Well I won't admonish you too much - just put a link in to your blog from mine so people will know what I do too - with the addition of the plant watering. Oh the joy of being a regal 'we'!
